The National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (NCDRC) has resolved that all its Benches shall conduct only physical hearings from November 15 onwards
The Joint Registrar on Thursday notified that all NCDRC benches shall hear cases listed before them only in physical mode.
Furthermore, it was also specified that alternate forms of hearings such as virtual court proceedings and hybrid hearings would also remain suspended November 15 onwards.
"The alternative modes of hearing of cases i.e. hearing through video conferencing (virtual court hearing) and hybrid hearing shall be dispensed with from 15th November, 2021", the notification stated.
