The Kerala High Court has initiated E-post, a hybrid method, including electronic processing combined with traditional physical delivery for the service of legal notices. This would streamline the entire process of delivery of legal notices.

E-post is an electronic postal service that facilitates the sending of notices digitally which are then physically delivered by the post office to the recipient. Once an e-filer completes payment, the application is promptly forwarded to the appropriate section within the court which will digitally sign the notices and attach it to the relevant case file. Then, these documents are electronically sent to the post office where they are printed and handed over to a postman for physical delivery to the party.

This would ensure speedier and more efficient notice service to the parties, improving the judicial process's speed and reliability.

The E-post service was initially conducted in the court of Justice A. Muhamed Mustaque.
