A Delhi Court on Thursday adjourned the hearing in the anticipatory bail application filed by Shantanu Muluk in relation to the Toolkit FIR and farmer's protest.

The court however granted interim protection to the accused on the submission made by counsel appearing on behalf of Shantanu ensuring that no coercive action by the State is taken against him.

Additional Sessions Judge Dharmender Rana adjourned the matter to 9th March 2021 for hearing the arguments at length.
Advocate Vrinda Grover along with Advocate Sarim Naved appeared on behalf of co accused Shantanu Muluk.
Additional Public Prosecutor submitted before the Court that there was a need of the presence of Shantanu for 7 more days for the purpose of interrogation so as to question him in detail. It was also submitted by the State that time of at least 7 days was required by the State in filing a detailed and comprehensive reply in the matter.
However, Grover submitted that Shantanu has been cooperating with the investigation and has been present in interrogation whenever the Delhi Police has called him.
The judge, after recording submissions of the State and counsel for Shantanu, ordered that the matter will be taken up at 9th March 2021 for arguments. Meanwhile no coercive action will be taken against the accused person.
"Learned APP submits that the State needs at least 7 more days to file detailed reply in the matter. Meanwhile the IO is not inclined to take any coercive action against the accused. Considering the submissions of both the parties, matter has been adjourned. To come up for arguments on 9th March 2021. Meanwhile no coercive action to be taken against the accused." Judge Dharmender Rana ordered.
