The Central Government has notified the appointment of judicial officers Rajendra Badamikar and Khazi Jayabunnisa Mohiuddin as Additional Judges of the Karnataka High Court.

They shall hold office for a period of two years in the above order of seniority.

The recommendation for their elevation was made by the Supreme Court Collegium in February this year.

Through the said resolution, the Collegium had also recommended elevation of Senior Advocate Aditya Sondhi. However, the Government notification is silent on his elevation.
