The Allahabad High Court Registrar has issued an interesting 'office order' on Wednesday.
The order deprecates the conduct of officials in not stopping to wait for High Court judges to cross them, while the judges pass through galleries for sitting in Court and also while retiring to their Chambers. It is clearly an act of disrespect, the Registrar said.
"It is, therefore, directed that the officers/officials while passing through the galleries meant for the movement of Hon'ble Judges shall stop whenever they see that the Hon'ble Judges are passing through the galleries and pay highest respect to Their Lordships"
Registrar has also cautioned the officials that 'any deviation in this regard shall be viewed seriously',
