Salve : I will put a reply to the main writ petition. We will reply to one petition.

Salve : Sibal said that last writ covers all the issues. Let us put a reply in 5-7 days.

CJI : Some of the issues, consequences of removal of para 3 and absence of split concept, whether a minority party leader has right to disqualify party leader, these are some of the issues. If you can cull out the issues, we can decide how to proceed.

Sibal : If it is argued on a preliminary issue and delayed further....it cannot brook further delay.

Salve : I don't know why my friend is apprehensive about me filing a reply.

Sibal : You don't have to attribute motives.

Salve : Give me a week's time, let me put in my replies so that the issues can be categorized.

Salve requests time to file reply to the petitions and post it next week.

CJI : Time is not an issue. But some of the issues are important constitutional issues which should be settled.

Salve : Problem is some of those issues won't arise. On assumptions these are raised.

Salve : Heavens don't fall if a Chief Minister is removed after (...inaudible...)

Salve referring to petitions filed by Uddhav camp - The reliefs don't square up with the pleadings. They say Speaker is unconstitutionally elected. Is there a case for judicial review? Not this larger than life arguments of democracy being imperilled, constitution being imperilled.
