Centre Notifies Appointment Of 10 New Judges To Telangana High Court

The President of India has appointed 10 new judges - 5 advocates and 5 judicial officers- to the Telangana High Court. Following are the Advocates and Judicial Officers who are appointed as Judges of the Telangana High Court in the following order of seniority: 1. Shri.Kasoju Surendhar alias K Surender, Advocate2. The President of India has appointed 10 new judges - 5 advocates and 5 judicial officers- to the Telangana High Court.
Following are the Advocates and Judicial Officers who are appointed as Judges of the Telangana High Court in the following order of seniority:
1. Shri.Kasoju Surendhar alias K Surender, Advocate
2. Smt. Surepalli Nanda, Advocate
3. Shri. Mummineni Sudheer Kumar, Advocate
4. Smt. Juvvadi Sridevi alias Kuchadi Sridevi, Advocate
5. Natcharaju Shravan Kumar Venkat, Advocate
6. Smt. Gunnu Anupama Chakravarthy, Judicial Officer
7. Smt. Maturi Girija Priyadarsini alias Priyadarsini, Judicial Officer
8. Sambasivarao Naidu, Judicial Officer
9. Anugu Santhosh Reddy, Judicial Officer
10. Dr. Devaraju Nagarjun, Judicial Officer
On February 1, the Supreme Court collegium had recommended the names of 7 advocates and 5 judicial officers for elevation as judges of the Telangana High Court.
The Telangana High Court at present has 19 judges against a sanctioned strength of 42. With the new appointments, the vacancies will reduce to 13.
