Collegium Recommends Elevation Of An Advocate & 2 Judicial Officers As Judges Of Guahati HC [Read Resolution]

In its meeting held on October 15, the Supreme Court collegium recommended the elevation of one Advocate and two Judicial Officers as judges of the Guahati High Court. Their names were notified today.

They are:

1. Soumitra Saikia, Advocate;

2. Parthivjyoti Saikia, District & Sessions Judge at Tinsukia District of Assam; and

3. S. Hukato Swu, Judicial Officer.
