About The Guest

Ms. Siboney Sagar is a leading expert in legal regulatory, public policy and telecom, media and telecom laws. She completed her Bachelor's from NLSIU Bangalore in 1998 and then went to pursue her Master's degree from Columbia Law School. She then did a diploma in International Law from Hague Academy.

She started her career by working in the Chambers of (then) Attorney General of India, Advocate Soli J. Sorabjee. Since then, she has worked with Amarchand Mangaldas as an associate, GE Consumer and Industrial as General Counsel and later as Vice President-Legal and Compliance. In 2015, she founded her own firm, Resolve, dispute resolution forum, where she's the Managing Partner.

In 2017 she joined Disney Star (a Walt Disney Company) where currently she is the Senior Principal Counsel. Her expertise lies at the cutting edge of TMT laws, public policy and regulatory compliance. She is the strategic regulatory counsel to the legal and regulatory team covering strategic legal and regulatory for broadcasting, distribution, general entertainment, digital and sports across areas of regulation, dispute resolution, IP, Competition and public Policy.
