    The Centre for Aerospace and Defence Laws (CADL), NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad, is organizing the 1st International Legal and Policy Conference on the Future of Transport. The conference is in collaboration with the GMR Group, University of Mississippi School of Law, Sarin & Co., and the Indian Journal of Law and Public Policy.

    Venue: NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad, India

    The ways in which technology and innovation are going to transform the transport sector are some of the questions that will be addressed as part of this conference. What are the skills required to bridge the gender imbalance gap in transport sector and the benefits of diversity and inclusiveness at workplace will be a highlight of this conference. This conference aims at debating a wide range of legal and policy issues relating to the aviation, space, and transport sector in general by experts coming from government, industry, legal and policy analysts, and academicians.

    At the conference, the organisers will also announce the winners of the 1st APJ Abdul Kalam Air and Space Law and Policy Essay Competition, to which more than 30 participants from across the world contributed. The objective of this annual essay competition is to offer insight into pertinent issues and challenges in the fields of air and space law.

    The keynote address will be delivered by Justice A. Muhamed Mustaque, Kerala High Court.

    Who should attend: Anyone interested in the area of transport is welcome to attend the conference. Primary audience to whom this conference will be of interest - government, industry, media, legal and policy experts, academia, students.

    There is no registration fee to attend the conference, but individuals interested to attend the conference should register. You will receive a participation certification upon request from the organisers of the conference.
