    Hidayatullah National Law University (HNLU), Raipur, is set to launch the seventh edition of its prestigious 'Lex Osmose' courses, starting from October 22 to 31st December, 2024. Building on the success of the previous six editions, this latest offering presents six specialized courses that span across cutting-edge legal fields, including 'Cyber Laws, Cybercrime Investigation, and Digital Forensics', 'International Trade in Services: Legal Framework, Negotiations, and Services Trade Policies', 'Banking Law and Finance', 'Contract Drafting and Negotiation Practices in the Information Technology Industry' and 'Sports Law & Practice'.

    This edition features a distinguished panel of instructors, including B. Md. Irfan, System Analyst at NALSAR, who will lead the course on Cyber Laws; Mr. Sumanta Chaudhary, retired IAS officer and international trade expert will cover International Trade in Services; and Mr. Anish Ghose, Senior Legal Counsel at Infosys Limited will guide students through Contract Drafting in the IT industry. Additionally, Pratish Kumar, Partner JSA, Sumitava Basu, Partner JSA and Mr. Srinjoy Bhatacharjee Of-Counsel at JSA will teach Banking Law, and Mr. Saksham Samarth, Mr. Deep Ray, Dr. Niyati Pandey, and Mr. Tarun from GNLU will jointly conduct a course on Sports Law and Practice.

    Introduced in 2020, the 'Lex Osmose' series is designed to offer single credit courses, tailored by renowned external faculty from academia, the legal profession, and industry. Delivered entirely online, these courses are evaluated by the instructors and come with certification (Non-CGPA), contingent on 14 hours of attendance and the completion of assessments. Each course accommodates a minimum of 25 and a maximum of 50 students, with a maximum of 10 non-HNLU students per course.

    The classes are to be held in the evenings on weekdays and during the daytime on weekends, these courses are free of charge and open to students enrolled in undergraduate and postgraduate law programs.
