    India's rich cultural diversity is a testament to the dynamism and potential of its people, particularly its women, who are increasingly taking centre stage across various sectors. Despite the progress made in empowering women, there is a critical need for more robust policies and laws in the field of entrepreneurship, finance, sports, politics, education, technology, entertainment, and journalism, to ensure they receive the opportunities and protections they deserve.

    This conference will serve as a platform to engage in thoughtful discussions on the current state of women-centric policies, laws, and reforms pertaining to their roles in varied fields.

    The conference welcomes both men and women comprising of undergraduate students, academicians, scholars, professionals etc. to contribute their academic research and present the same before the esteemed panel of adjudicators comprising of academicians, lawyers, industry expert, etc. that will shed light on these critical issues.

    Through this conference, voices from diverse sectors are being convened to engage in a vivid and comprehensive discourse on the progress, challenges, and the road ahead for women in India. The Guests and the Panelists will consist of justices from the Supreme Court of India and High Courts, Senior Advocate(s), Standing Counsel(s), Leading Law Firm Partners, Journalist(s), Government Secretary(ies)/Member(s), Administrator(s), Social worker(s), Artist(s), Entrepreneurs, etc. who will grace the conference with their insights and experiences which will foster an overall enriching experience for the participants and other attendees of the conference.

    • After the Registration the participants are required to submit their Research Papers along with Abstract (strictly in terms of the guidelines) on or before the last date of submissions i.e., 31.05.2024 on the following E-mail address with the subject line “Name of the Author(s) _ Title of the Manuscript”:

    SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:

    I. WORD LIMIT:

    a) A paper must comprehensively analyze the issue that the author seeks to highlight. It must contain an in-depth study of the status quo or a contemporary issue in any sub-theme. A long paper should be between 2,000-10,000 words.

    b) The word limit is exclusive of footnotes. However, depending upon the quality and depth of research, relaxation may be given and the word limit may vary.

    c) The paper must contain an Abstract of 150-300 words with 3-7 Keywords.

    d) CITATION STYLE: OSCOLA 4th edn citation method must be followed.

    II. THE FORMAT OF THE MAIN TEXT AND THE FOOTNOTES

    a) The Times New Roman Font with a Font size of 12 and Line spacing of 1.5 is prescribed for all entries.

    b) Further, the footnotes shall be in Times New Roman Font with Font size 10 and Line spacing of 1.0 shall be followed respectively.

    c) The Submission must be made in MS Word format only.

    III. ALL SUBMISSIONS MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY

    1. A separate document containing the biographical information of the authors, including the following details: Name, E-mail address, Name and Address of Institution, Course, Contact number, and Academic Year.

    2. No reference to the name or the affiliations of the author(s) must be present in the text of the submission and must only be provided in a separate document.

    3. Co-authorship is allowed, to a maximum of two authors.

    4. The abstract should be written in the Manuscript.

    5. Note: Failure to adhere to the guidelines in the submissions shall lead to outright rejection of such paper(s).

    IV. PUBLICATION POLICY

    1. All the submissions sent must be original and should not have been published nor should they be under consideration for publication in any other journal.

    2. Plagiarism up to 15% is allowed.

    3. The Editors reserve the right to delete or edit any paper or part thereof whose content is found to be offensive, defamatory, outrightly unethical, or if it is suggestive of racism, sexual or religious discrimination, illegal or terror activities, etc.

    4. The Publication of a paper will be subject to Editorial Review and an 8-layer review process will be conducted and the author have to make the corrections as per the review by the JCLJ Board.

    5. The decision of the Board will be binding regarding Publication or Alterations or Rejection of a Manuscript.

    2. Date of the National Level Paper Presentation is 15th June 2024

    3. Date for the Valedictory ceremony and Panel Discussion is 16th June 2024

    REWARDS AND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

    1. Top 3 Research Paper shall be awarded with a cash prize of INR 21,000/- each;

    2. Top 3 Paper Presenter shall be awarded with a cash prize of INR 15,000/- each;

    3. Top 10 papers shall be published by Jus Corpus Law Journal and next best 10 papers shall be published by the Journal of Legal Research and Juridical Sciences, and their authors shall be granted the ISSN Number by Jus Corpus for the formal publication of their papers;

    4. Internship opportunities for the top 10 Paper Presenter (being law students) at Top tier law firm(s) and Chamber(s);

    5. All participants will be honoured with a certificate of Participation;

    6. Accommodation, food and local commutation shall be taken care of by the organizers subject to nominal fee;

    7. Extraordinary opportunity to engage directly with dignitaries from different sectors.

    GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:

    • The research paper will not be accepted without the payment of registration fees.

    • The research paper shall be in strict compliance with the aforementioned guidelines.

    • If the aforementioned criteria are not fulfilled, the research paper shall be subject to rejection.

    • Top paper presenters and top research paper participants who participated via offline mode will be felicitated at the Valedictory Session by the Chief Guests and Guests of Honour and in the case of online mode, their certificates and rewards shall be sent through emails.

    • Participants who have participated via offline mode shall be given certificates on 16.06.2024, and for participants who have opted for online mode, e-certificates shall be issued through their email.
