"Mediation: Theory to Practice" is a book that aims to serve as a guide for the students, practitioners and its users with the theoretical and practical knowledge of Mediation. It is structured keeping in mind the curriculum drafted by the Bar Council of India for the students to have a consolidated reading material.
The author has embellished the book with her valuable practical experiences and vast knowledge of mediation. The book will handhold the readers for a better understanding of mediation, both as a process and theory.
"Mediation: Theory to Practice,'' the first consolidated book by a single author on mediation, is published by Thomson Reuters. It delivers some crucial insights into the law and practice of mediation that would help young lawyers and trainers to handle mediation cases effectively. In today's scenario, the book is well-timed due to the Mediation Bill knocking on the door.

About the Author :-
Ms. Iram Majid is a leading expert in the field of Arbitration and Mediation. She is one of India's global ADR practitioners who is internationally accredited to practice in multiple jurisdictions, both as an arbitrator and mediator.
Currently, she is serving as the Director of the Indian Institute of Arbitration and Mediation and Executive Director of Asia Pacific Centre for Arbitration & Mediation.
The author has years of experience in handling Arbitration and Mediation and is empaneled as a certified arbitrator and mediator in more than 10 Asian countries. Ms. Iram Majid impart training to various professionals on ADR. Recently, the author has given the representation before the standing committee of the Parliament on the Mediation Bill, 2021. For mediation, the author has completed training from Harvard Law School, Boston and Pepperdine University, California. The author has also won the Lex Falcon Award in 2021.
