  • Call for Papers: NLSIU’s Two day National Seminar on Law and Practice in Real Estate in India

    MHUPA Chair on Urban Poor and the Law, at NLSIU is organizing a Two day National Seminar on “Law and Practice in Real Estate in India” on 7th and 8th JANUARY, 2016.

    Eligibility

    Person from Stakeholders in the Real Estate Business/ Transactional Lawyer/ Practitioner of law/ Researchers/ Scholars/ Government officers/ Real Estate Managers/ Policy Drafters and Researchers and Students from Public Policy, Law and management are invited to attend the Seminar.

    Publication

    All the selected papers will be published in a Special Issue of the Journal of Law and Public Policy (JLPP) (ISSN 2350-1200) Special Issue titled ‘Law Governing Real Estate in India’ in June 2016.

    Deadline

    All the Abstracts must be submitted in soft copy on or before 18th December, 2015 and papers by 4th January, 2016. 

    Submission

    The same must be e-mailed to bhatsairam@nls.ac.in and subin@nls.ac.in along with a covering letter.

    Co-authorship is allowed (Maximum two authors).  

    Registration

    The Registration Fees for all participants shall be: INR 2000/- per participant / per author [non- residential] need be paid for this programme.

    Participants interested to register should send a Demand Draft in the name of National Law School of India University, Payable at Bengaluru, to be sent to the following address:
