Army Institute of Law National Moot Court Competition – 2017

The Army Institute of Law, as a part of its endeavor for providing and facilitating its support to the student community of the Country takes immense pleasure in announcing the 7th Edition of its National Moot Court Competition, “Checkmate 2017” from 3rd – 5th March 2017.

Important Dates:

1. Deadline For Provisional Registration: 20th January, 2017


2. Deadline For Registration (Soft Copy): 27^th January 2017.


3. Deadline For Registration (Hard Copy): 21^st February 2017.


4. Deadline For Seeking Clarifications: 1^st February 2017


5. Release Of Clarifications: 6^th February 2017


6. Deadline For Memorial
   Soft Copy – 15th February
   Hard Copy – 21stfebruary

Registration:

• Participation for the Competition is strictly by Registration (First-cum-first -serve basis). (b)


• The teams should register through e-mail by sending a mail to mcs@ail.ac.in (with subject Moot Court Registration Checkmate 2017) by 20th January 2017.


• The hard copy of the registration form along with the demand draft of Rs. 4500/- INR on or before 21st February 2017drawn in the name of Registrar, Army Institute of Law, Mohali, payable in Mohali.

Cash Awards:

• Winners- Rs. 45.000


• Runners up- Rs. 30,000


• Best Memorial Award- Rs. 25,000


• Second Best Memorial Award- Rs. 15,000


• Advocate of the Year- Rs. 15,000


• Second Best Advocate of the Yea-r Rs. 10,000
