SG- have been imposed according to police stations. The officer in charge takes the call. He has an understanding of the situation. It was lifted within a week in certain areas.
SG- Landlines were shut, assembling was prohibited, sometimes schools remained closed but movement wasn't banned. Shows application of mind
SG- Rights under Art 19 not absolute. Govt can regulate them in the interest of the state and the general public. Reasonable restrictions on FRs are always imposed when there is compelling state interest
SG : Right to Education was not there earlier, yet no one came to court asking for its application in Kashmir
SG lists that working conditions will improve, various sections can get employment opportunities, property rights, rights of women upheld, applicability of Central laws will lead to development.
SG- there will be grassroot democracy with the application of the entire Indian constitution.
Refers to different sections of society that will benefit. "106 people friendly laws" will now be applicable
SG- Restrictions are minimal. The situation is normal except for the internet.
