The NCB has arrested the18th accused in the case. He has been brought to court for remand.

Chinedu Igwe was allegedly apprehended with 40 tablets of commercial quantity of Ecstasy.

Maneshinde has cited a total of 22 judgements. 

Court says there is some inspection now. Hearing to continue at 2.45 pm.

Maneshinde - I have parents and a family here. I have an Indian passport and I am not going to abscond. There is no question of tampering. I should be granted bail.

Maneshinde - Search and seizure cannot be cited just to lock me up in the jail.

The normal tendency of the court is to grant bail.

There is an accusation, there is no material. I was abroad when those chats happened. 

Maneshinde- I am a 23 year old with no prior antecedents. I happen to be from Bollywood. I went on an invitation, refused when asked if I have drugs.

They were honest not to accuse me of anything else. Data from my mobile has been retrieved and sent for forensics.

Maneshinde is reading another judgement on how Aryan Khan's statement recorded under Section 67 of the NDPS Act cannot alone be used to deny him bail. 

Maneshinde - Let us not stand on technicalities, let us go on merits. Because there is no use of technicalities without merits.

Maneshinde argues that if the court decides to adjudicate on the maintainability of the bail applications, then his interim bail application be decided first. Even if it is by a two line order.

Maneshinde cites the bail order in Sohil Sk. Samir v. State Of Maharashtra, where the appellant was released despite intermediate quantity.
