Indian Journal of Environmental Law (IJEL) a flagship journal of the Centre for Environmental Law Education, Research and Advocacy (CEERA), National Law School of India University is an annual, peer-reviewed journal dedicated to providing a forum for incisive legal scholarship on important current issues in environmental law. It aims to be a platform for students, academics and practitioners to comment upon contemporary developments in the field of environmental law, with a special focus on Indian jurisprudence and policy.
The Indian Journal of Environmental Law (IJEL) is now accepting submissions for its upcoming issue – Volume 7.
Nature of Contributions
- Articles (5000-8000 words)
- Short Notes (3000-5000 words)
- Case Comments/Legislative Reviews (1500-2500 words)
- Book Reviews (800-1000 words)
Submission Guidelines
- Submissions should adhere to the following format
- Body:
- Font: Times New Roman
- Font size -12
- Line Spacing: 1.5
- Alignment: Justified.
- Footnotes
- Font: Times New Roman
- Font size -10
- Line Spacing: 1
- Alignment: Justified
- All citations must be strictly in accordance withThe Bluebook: A Uniform System of Citation (19th). Authors should be prepared to supply any cited sources upon request.
- Co-authorship, with a maximum of two authors is allowed.
- Articles and Short Notes must be accompanied by an abstract of not more than 300 words. No abstract is required for Book Reviews or Case Comments/Legislative Reviews. Authors are encouraged to send in their abstract prior to the submission of the articles.
