NALSA: Launch Of Campaign For Identifying Juveniles In Prisons And Rendering Legal Assistance 2024

To commemorate the 75th Year of India as a Republic, the National Legal Services Authority is conducting a Pan-India Campaign 'Restoring the Youth: Pan-India Campaign for Identifying Juveniles in Prisons and Rendering Legal Assistance-2024' from 25th January, 2024 to 27th February, 2024. On the eve of the 75th Republic Day, Justice Sanjiv Khanna, Judge, Supreme Court of India & Executive Chairman, NALSA will be launching the campaign on 25th January, 2024 at 5:00 P.M.

The Campaign aims at identifying persons currently in prison who were potentially minors at the time of offense and assisting them in filing the necessary applications for claim of juvenility before the appropriate Court and consequential transfer to Child Care Institutions in identified cases.
