Adv. Ram Jethmalani-Symbiosis ADR Tournament, 2017

Symbiosis Law School, Pune is organizing the Second Edition of Adv. Ram Jethmalani-Symbiosis ADR Tournament, 2017 as a part of SYMBHAV, Symbiosis Law School, Pune’s - Annual Cultural Festival.

The ADR tournament encompasses varied set of legal events which includes Negotiation, Mediation, Client Counseling and Judgment Writing Competition.

FORMAT OF THE TOURNAMENT:

The tournament encompasses varied set of legal events as follows:

• Client Counselling


• Judgment Writing Competition


• Negotiation,


• Mediation

Eligibility:

• Only Law Colleges / Universities recognized by the Bar Council of India are eligible to participate.


• Only the bona fide students pursuing LL.B. in Three Year / Five Year Degree programmes in aforementioned institutions, during the current academic year are eligible to participate.

Team Composition

• Kindly refer to respective Event Rules for team composition.


• Only ONE Team per EVENT is allowed per University / College / Law School / Institute except for Judgment Writing.


• No same Team would be allowed to participate in two legal events of ADR Tournament, except for Judgment Writing

Registration Details:

• Participating teams are required to send the e-mail & scanned copy of the transaction receipt of RTGS/NEFT transfer of registration fee and registration form at symbhavadr@gmail.com and adr@symlaw.ac.in on or before February 16, 2017 (Thursday) by 11:59 p.m.


• The last date for sending the Travel Plan is February 17, 2017. (Friday)

The Registration Fee for the events are as following:

1. Client Counselling (Rs.1000/-)


2. Judgment Writing (Rs.1000/-)


3. Mediation (Rs.1000/-)


4. Negotiation (Rs.1000/-)


5. Legal Package (Rs.3000/- for one team in Client Counselling, Judgment Writing, Mediation & Negotiation each)

• Client Counselling: Winner-Trophy + Rs. 10,000; Runner-Up-Plaque + Rs. 5,000


• Client Counselling: Winner-Trophy + Rs. 10,000; Runner-Up-Plaque + Rs. 5,000


• Mediation: Winner-Trophy + Rs. 10,000; Runner-Up-Plaque + Rs. 5,000


• Negotiation: Winner-Trophy + Rs. 10,000; Runner-Up-Plaque + Rs. 5,000
