Plea To Cancel NEET-UG 24 : Paper Leak Happened Before May 4th, Says CJI; Live Updates From Supreme Court [July 22]
Hooda : All is being done behind the curtains, nothing is disclosed
Hooda : Only 863 out of 1563 appeared for the re-examination.
CJI : 1563 drawn from how many centres?
Hooda : They have not disclosed.
SG : 8 centres.
CJI : Okay, assuming that wrong things happened, show us the data, how it was widespread.
Hooda : Give me two minutes.
CJI : We are past 11.30 now..
Hooda : Meanwhile they started.
NTA : 3300 completed the exam with the wrong paper (Canara bank).
Hooda : How they evaluated Canara bank paper when they have declared key only for SBI paper?
CJI : They must have a key for Canara bank.
Hooda : Till date no key for Canara bank paper declared.
NTA : Grace marks were given only to the students whose paper (Canara bank) was withdrawn midway and the SBI paper was given.
Hooda : On 4th June, they declared only one key, only the SBI paper's key. So how they evaluated the Canara bank papers?
CJI : Why were the grace marks given?
SG : According to me, it was not a correct decision. Apparently, there is a decision, if there is a time problem, grace marks be given. Later, the decision was recalled and a re-test was done.
CJI : How many centres did that happen?
NTA counsel : We will give the correct number.
NTA counsel says in some centres, midway, the wrong booklet was withdrawn and the correct booklet was distributed and in those centres, students were given grace marks for loss of time.
NTA informs in 8 centres the wrong booklet (Canara bank paper) was distributed.
NTA counsel says both set of papers (SBI and Canara bank) have same difficulty level.
