SG: One thing. You are aware that issue is limited. In my submission, there are three options. SLP can be dismissed. SLP can be allowed. Third is we are before 5-Judge Bench.
SG: They were almost on verge of conclusion. Then the Affidavits were filed which I objected to because they were arguing from the beginning. I substantiated my arguments within 3 days. By way of affidavits, they wanted to fill a lacuna.
SG: They were taking a calculated risk. These are the broad contours.
SG: My submissions were over on 3 June. This is not on merits. My submissions boiled down to one fact that they are representing all throughout. On 3, counsels for accused Singhvi started his arguments.
SG: 31 May, I started my arguments. AG also said that he wanted to raise preliminary objection on maintainability.
Bench: Your 5 minutes are over. But you will get 2.5 minutes more because there are two counsels on that side. We know all of this. Get to the point.

SG: We then filed an Affidavit against the accused persons. 27 May, Dwivedi was right, was the date on which State was formally joined as party. Notice was issued.

SG: Yes. Learned AG accepted notice on behalf of State, CM and Law Minister.
Bench: Limited aspect before us is 9 June order. Naturally we are confining ourselves to the scope of the matter. Let’s focus on that.
