Bench: The TC refused to distinguish between preliminary enquiry and further investigation. So, in that context the statement of not agreeing submission of SIT was made.
Bench: This translation [TC judgment in SLP] may not be accurate.
Mr. Shukla reads the Gujarati version of the judgment for clarity.

Rohatgi: That is a translation problem.

Rohatgi: What we’ll do is in HC judgement wherever there is a Gujarati portion, we will translate that.

Rohatgi: Then is the ‘slack review' of cases in 2004. This has nothing to do with SIT, but it went into every allegation.
