P Wilson for DMK MP Tiruchu Siva submits that the terms of the Committee must be published for the entire country.
CJI : We will form the Committee according to what we think the best. We cannot cater to everyones opinion.
AP Singh for BKU-Bhanu - There is no comparison between the farmers protests and Shaheen Bagh protests. Farmers are protesting in a patriotic way. We have suggested names of Justices Kurian Joseph and Markandeya Katju for the Committee.
The bench issues notice on the application filed by the Delhi Police seeking to stop the proposed tractor rally on Republic Day.
AG submits that yesterday the protesters said that the tractor rally will take place on Republic Day and therefore an injunction application has been filed by Delhi police to stop that.
CJI : We will issue notice on the Solicitor's application. We will have it on Monday.
CJI to AG : If there is an infiltration by a banned organization, and somebody is making an allegation here on record, you have to confirm it. You file an affidavit by tomorrow.
AG : Yes. I will filed the affidavit and place the IB records.
Attorney General : There is no question of huge group of 1 lakh people entering the city on the Republic Day. We can't say where all they will go.
CJI : It is within your police powers to control that and check if they are armed.
Attorney General : As far as Karnataka, Kerala etc are concerned, there is huge support for these laws.
