Bench: What you say of assessment is that results be declared by July 31st, and its not possible to give specific date of taking examination. Address us on that.

Bench: He is saying option be given at the outset. If you have a scheme, that confirmation be taken in the beginning, then you know number of students who want to appear in exams. #CBSE #ICSE

AG: Suppose he takes option of not taking, In those circumstances he will have right to see internal assessment, if his marks are good he won’t have to take exams, as results of exams are final. 

AG: His past performance will be assessed. If he wants to improve that he will be able to take improvement exam. 

Singh: It will effect everything else

Bench: Had it been a competitive exams, your argument may have been relevant. These are qualifying exams, one person’s marks won’t affect you.

Bench: What’s the difficulty if exams of taking option is available in the exams. 

Singh: What might happen is, in my school Some students may have gotten higher exams in local exams, they might not take exams but we will.

Bench: CBSE exams are not school levelling exams, they are National level exam
