Adv Desai continues that this is just because some alleged connection is found with a co-accused drug peddler.
Adv Desai - You are a person at the bottom of the chain, you're a person affected by the drug menace as per the Govt.'s own policy, but instead of reforming you, I will pick you up and put you in prison.
Adv Desai - If they believe that the contents of the mobile are imp, they have it. Why curtail my liberty? Nothing has been suggested that if he is released on bail investigation will be affected.
Desai reads from the panchnama: If the phone is voluntarily taken then also there has to be something, but the panchnama says seized it was not handed over. There has to be a seizure memo.
