The learned Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede requested the court to keep the accused in NBC's custody as jail authorities do not admit the accused in the absence of Covid report.

Accused can't be lodged in Arthur Road right now.

Maneshinde - We are ready to spend one night in NCB's custody. Your Lord may say JC in the custody of Mr Wankhede Only. (everyone laughs)

ASG - There is one correction in the order, there are two statements of Arbaaz, not one. 

Maneshinde - The ASG should stand by the liberty of the citizens.

Court - Tomorrow. 

Adv Sayad- The punishment is only six months, why can't it be considered here?

Court - That's the whole crux of the matter.

ASG - My submission will go to the root of the matter that bail application cannot be considered here.

Maneshinde - It is a mandate that the interim application has to be decided today. 

ASG - Bail or interim bail cannot be considered here. It's not maintainable.

Maneshinde - Whether they reply or don't reply. The application can be decided.
