Think India Delhi’s 2nd Nat’l Symposium on Landmark Judgments of 2018 [6th Jan]

Think India Delhi is organizing the 2nd National Symposium on Landmark Judgments of 2018, in association with Nehru Memorial Museum and Library. The event involves panel discussions where eminent speakers will discuss landmark judgments and their impact. The discussion shall be followed by a question and answer session.

The Judgments and Speakers proposed for discussion are as follows:



  • Session I: Decriminalization of Section 377 I.P.C.: “Many Questions Unanswered” by Shri. Mahesh Jethmalani, Senior Advocate, Supreme Court of India; Menaka Guruswamy, Senior Advocate, Supreme Court of India and Laxmi Narayan Tripathi

  • Session II: Gender Equality and Adultery by Aishwarya Bhati, Additional Advocate General, Uttar Pradesh and Meenakshi Arora, Senior Advocate Supreme Court of India

  • Session III: Live Streaming of Court Proceedings by Shri. Dipak Misra, Former Chief Justice of India; Shri. Ramesh Chandra Lahoti, Former Chief Justice of India and Shri. Tushar Mehta, Solicitor General of India

  • Session IV: Fire Cracker a Blanket Ban by Dr.Subramaniam Swammy, Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha and Dr. Rakesh Sinha, Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha
