As India looks ahead to its next 75 years, the Constitution remains a beacon of hope, embodying the nation's commitment to unity in diversity, democracy, and justice for all its citizens. The title of the Conference acknowledges the importance and timelines of the conference, and emphasizes a forward-looking approach to the several prospective towards the future of our Indian constitution. It recognizes the need to anticipate and address future challenges the Indian constitution might face.

Xavier Law School at XIM UNIVERSITY, Bhubaneswar is organising the 2nd Law Conference on 75 Years of the Indian Constitution: Reflection, Resilience and Road Ahead, to be held on 24th & 25th of January, 2025, in the New Campus of XIM University.

Unpublished original research articles from students, faculty members, researchers and research scholars on any contemporary issues in Constitution are invited.

Formatting Guidelines

  • The abstract must be in English.
  • The word limit for the abstract is 250-300 words, with 5 Keywords.
  • Abstracts should clearly mention the title of the proposed paper, the central idea of the paper and the research method to be applied in brief.
  • Every abstract must be accompanied by a cover page containing the name, affiliation, and contact details of the author(s). If there is more than one author, details of co-authors should also be mentioned.
  • Submission of the abstract shall be in the ic-conference@xim.edu.in
  • The font should be Times New Roman, 12 font size and with 1.5 line spacing

Submission Guidelines

  • The final paper must be in English.
  • The paper must be original and similarity index is restricted upto 10%.
  • The word limit of the paper including tables, diagrams, illustrations, references, etc. should be between 3000- 5000 words.
  • Every paper must be accompanied with a cover page containing the name of the author(s), affiliation, and their contact details. If there is more than one author, the co-authors should also register.
  • The paper should be in (.doc) or (.docx) format.
  • The font should be in Times New Roman, size 12 with 1.5 line spacing.
  • Footnotes should be in font Times New Roman, size 10 with single-line spacing.
  • Author(s) should follow a uniform style of citation throughout the paper.
  • Author(s) shall get a maximum of 15 minutes to present their paper.
  • Submission of the final paper shall be in the ic-conference@xim.edu.
