The elements of trade and commerce have marched into every facet of life — making ‘contract’ an organizing principle of every type of relationship in society. The laws governing business contracts are becoming progressively more complex, and now affect all industries and all types of commercial contracts. In contrast with other laws, contracts are binding commandments made by individuals, corporations, and the State entities within the framework of the general laws of the country. The laws relating to contract, being organic in nature, need to respond to changes in the economy, in technology, and in society, in general. Consequently, a new and growing field of regulatory jurisprudence has now become a part of the Contract Law. As it is observed, an assortment of specialised contracts is now in vogue which may not fit-in exactly with the existing forms and models. With the economy growing in unparalleled ways, entrepreneurs have, based on expediency and convenience, evolved new practices in the matters relating to contracts.
