[Advt.] GNLU - Khaitan & Co Advanced Certificate Programme On Capital Markets & Securities Laws 2024-25 [Registrations Open]

GNLU presents the third edition of the "GNLU - Khaitan & Co Advanced Certificate Programme on Capital Markets & Securities Laws". The course has been curated by Mr Aditya Cheriyan and Mr Oishik Bagchi, Partners, Khaitan & Co. This edition will be held from December 2024 to January 2025, with a total teaching duration of over 50 hours (with 20+ hours of offline training at GNLU).

The course aims to develop a strong foundational understanding of capital markets and securities laws. Participants will have an opportunity to learn about the practical aspects of capital markets practice in a law firm.

The course is divided into two phases: (i) online and (ii) offline. The online leg will commence on December 07, 2024 with sessions on weekends. The offline leg of the course will be held at the GNLU campus from January 23 to January 27, 2025.

The course shall inter-alia include: (i) Relevant provisions under the Companies Act, 2013; (ii) Primary Markets Regulations: SEBI (Issue of Capital & Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, SEBI (Issue & Listing of Non-Convertible Securities) Regulations; (iii) Secondary Capital Markets Regulations; (iv) Takeover Code; (v) Securities Dispute Resolution - Insider Trading Regulations and SEBI PFUTP Regulations; (vi) IFSCA framework, (vii) Foreign Exchange Laws, (viii) SEBI LODR, among others.
