Part III Action Research & Resource Centre is launching its second publication, Samvidhan Series Volume II, 2024: “LICENSE RIGHT TO PROTEST- Examining the role of Constitutional Courts in Upholding the Right to Protest".

This report is part of the Samvidhan Series, an annual publication that critically examines developments in constitutional law and the role of constitutional courts. The first publication in this series, “The Judicial Power of Contempt: Upholding Authority or Restricting Speech,” was launched on February 25, 2023. For this year's publication, over 60 decisions of the Supreme Court and various High Courts have been reviewed, focusing on how constitutional courts have upheld the right to protest.
