Sibal: The Magistrate says that I would not allow further investigation because the SC has not asked me to do so. The HC says the Mag is wrong you can go back to Mag and ask for further investigation.Our Vol. do not deal with the issued that have been dealt with by the Mag and HC

Sibal: Anything that was part of record apart from that, I am dealing with that. Kindly see Citizens’ Tribunal. I am not concerned with individuals. I am looking at my own constitution and saying to myself can this (non-investigation) be allowed.

Bench: HC has gone in to all relevant documents.

Sibal: I would love to see where the HC was dealt with this, the Magistrate or even the SIT. The SIT, Mag and HC were dealing with a few issues - 27th meeting, hate speech by the then CM, castigating Sanjeev Bhat. I am not dealing with any of those controversial issues.

Sibal: Kindly See pg. 28. Guild concurred with the report of NHRC that the responsibility of media had to be investigated.

Bench: Because the judgement of the TC gives the impression that all was dealt with but never such detail order was passed.
