Sr. Adv. Wilson: We also have to look at Sri Lankan Tamils. There's no reply by SG on this.
Singhvi: Everyone is interested in getting this off the board. It has to be done in time bound manner.
Sr. Adv. Singhvi: Today is the housekeeping day, if i may say. If this has to be filed it has to be within time, in a deadline. 200 or 75 matters, it doesn't matter. There is only one matter broadly.
CJI: Wasn't this kind of request made last time too?
SG Mehta: There are two categories. One category is the umbrella category. The second category is slightly different which is in Assam and Tripura. So there are two broad categories. It is not possible to classify in less.
SG Mehta: The central government has filed it's response. 50 matters concern Assam and 3 for Tripura. Regarding Assam and Tripura, I need to file my reply.
CJI Lalit: This is on behalf of States?
SG Mehta: Yes, union's reply has been filed.
