Singhvi submits the Speaker could defer the decision till Wednesday, provided the 19 MLAs file a reply by tomorrow.

Singhvi says the Speaker expresses reluctance saying that the time has been extended twice already.

Bench requests Singhvi to contact the Speaker to ascertain if the time for reply can be extended beyond 5.30 PM, July 21.

Court asks Salve if the hearing can be adjourned till tomorrow.

Salve says that he has some difficulty tomorrow, and seeks adjournment to Wednesday.

Singhvi says, after the Court's query, he sought to see the files of the Speaker, and detailed satisfaction has been recorded. 

Meanwhile, Singhvi making a clarification regarding a query posed by the Court earlier regarding Speaker recording satisfaction before the show-cause notice.

CJ asks Salve if he was aware that impleading petitions have been filed.

Salve says he is not. But that's not an issue.
