AAG : I don't have an answer for that now. But I am told that we are accepting request from COVID patients till last date.
HC: How will you identify COVID patients and drop them?
AAG : Those students are identified. They are 40 in number and they will be brought by ambulances.
Bench : So you will not provide a second opportunity?
AAG : A decision in that regard has not been taken by govt.
AAG : To ensure social distancing at centres, Sec 144 order is issued around the exam centres.
AAG : Students from outside Karnataka are allowed to appear in centres closer to the border and they don't need to come to Bengaluru.
As per SOP, students and their parents are allowed to come out from Containment Zones by showing hall tickets.
AAG now reads out the SOP framed on July 18.
Bench : Did you provide second chance to SSLC exams?
AAG : Yes it was provided. But this is a competitive exam. Students may say we don't want to write the exams now.
AAG now reads out the State reply.
"The concern of court was that what will happen if the temperature of a student rises. It will be taken care of. A permanent room is made available for such students".
