Arora : If we restrict a religious practice which is neither against public order nor against morality, then we are not teaching our students religious tolerance.
Arora : United Nations have been overseeing the implementation of the rights (refers to certain reports).
Arora refers to UN Human Right Committee regarding Norway schools, which was found as a violation.
Norway being a Christian state, chose to teach their students only Christian values.
Arora points out that India has ratified the Child Rights convention without any reservation at all.
Arora : But we are looking at is religious tolerance, which will in teach in schools to respect other's religion, traditions.
