Sibal: All we're saying is till the filing of the chargesheet please don't share case file record with the media.

Sibal: The police or any other agency cannot use the media till investigation is pending to subvert the process of justice, as this would weaken the presumption of innocence in favour of the accused.
Sibal referring to Delhi Police holding a press briefing: Day in and day out the judiciary is questioned, but does it come out to hold press briefings?
Sibal: The OM itself says that privacy has to be respected.
Sibal: On maintainability, no remedy is provided to me under the CTN Act. They say we have to make a representation, but there is no remedy.
ASG Sharma for I&B Ministry: They have not approached us for any remedy. So this petition is premature.
Sr. Adv. Sibal: There is a difference between public domain and public record.
ASG Raju: It is in favour of Investigation that these materials are not to be given out. It's about whether it will hamper investigation. If I make these part of the chargesheet, no right to privacy will be violated.
