Singh: I got a sms regarding this.
Bench: We are not adjourning for inviting fresh petitions, but only as we have been told that pleas have been filed
Bench asks Sr Adv Singh about petitions which haven’t been filed in the matter that haven’t been heard.
We’ll ask Registry to give copies of those pleas to AG and CBSE and ICSE.
Bench: We can hear tomorrow. Nobody will have the grievance of not hearing
Bench to AG: We have accepted your position and asked you to go ahead. The scheme will only be subject to outcome of this petition we are hearing toda
Bench: It’s been stated that there have been pleas challenging the decision. Should we hear those petitions also?
We are on propriety here.
AG: No. if the court hears them today, we can understand.
Choudhary: Court may pass that direction.
Bench: We will have to hear the other side and see what will be the repercussion of that
Bench: Can you not apply for CLAT subject to results of those exams? Is there no provision there?
Choudhary: They can appear in exam with results, but they cannot appear in counselling.
Bench: Then Counselling can be deferred
Choudhary: They notified that exams have been canceled. Now they are saying they’ll conduct exams when situation is conducive
Bench: If you’re permitted to appear in exams to be conducted what is the problem?
Choudhary points out to a communication written by one student to CBSE where it was asked If exams private students have been cancelled . He adds that CBSE had communicated that All exams for class X and XII have been canceled this year.
Choudhary reads out relevant portion of the order.
Bench: That scheme pertained to situation where part of exam was conducted but part was not conducted.
