Kamat (for CP Mumbai Police) : We have no difficulty in calling them (Hansa) only for two days in a week.
Ponda : It is my brief which is causing me to tenacious. If it was any other brief, I would have given up earlier.
Justice Shinde (in ligher vein) : We know the capacity of lawyers. They can go on elaborating for days.
Sr Adv Sirish Gupte(for informant) : That may not apply to all lawyers. Ponda's capacity is of another level.
Abad Ponda : This issue can only be decided by my lords.
Abad Ponda : The Session Court cannot decide the issue of illegality of re-opening of the investigation. This arrest is the outcome of an action which started without altering the Magistrate's closure order.
Abad Ponda : The Session Court cannot decide the issue of illegality of FIR. Only the High Court can.
Justice Shinde : We can direct the Session Court to decide the application in 4 days.
Ponda : The Magistrate did not give any date for bail application. We were exploring the option of Session Courts. The police has now challenged the remand order. So bail will be stuck in revision.
