Chief Justice of Madhya Pradesh High Court Justice Ravi Malimath on Friday inaugurated a three days Regional Training Programme for Selected Panel Lawyers for High Court Legal Services Committee, Jabalpur.

Justice Sujoy Paul, Madhya Pradesh High Court Judge and Chairman Governing Council Madhya Pradesh State Judicial Academy (MPSJA) and Justice Vivek Agarwal, Madhya Pradesh High Court Judge and Chairman of HCLSC, Jabalpur were also present at the inaugural ceremony. 

While addressing the gathering, the Chief Justice highlighted the importance of Legal Aid Services rendered by Panel Lawyers and said that serving the improvised and the underprivileged is the most pious job a lawyer can offer and those who are performing this job must keep their head held high. The Chief Justice added that each one of the Panel lawyers must dedicate themselves to the cause of legal services. 

Director of Madhya Pradesh State Judicial Academy, Krishnamurty Mishra during his welcome address gave brief information regarding the scheme and methodology of the training programme. 

The training programme is being organised for 126 Panel Advocates who have been selected by the High Court Legal Services Committee, Jabalpur for the Legal Aid cases. 

MPSLSA Member Secretary Rajiv Karmahe, officers of Registry, High Court of M.P; MPSJA and MPSLSA were also present at the inaugural ceremony.
