District & Additional Sessions Judges Vacancy At Fast Track Special Courts, Bombay

The High Court of Bombay invites applications for the post of District & Additional Session Judge from a retired judicial officer for filling up 25 posts of temporary District & Additional Sessions Judges for the Fast Track Special Courts for the period of one year on a contractual basis in the State of Maharashtra for expeditious disposal of cases by conducting trials of pending rape cases and cases pending under POCSO Act.

Essential Qualification and Experience

• The retired Judicial Officers in the State of Maharashtra from the cadre of District and Additional Sessions Judge, who have retired during April 2018 to March 2022 on Superannuation only and having no post-retirement assignment shall be considered.

• The retired Judicial Officers who have taken voluntary retirement and those who are compulsorily retired/discharged from service in probation/review premature retired or dismissed shall not be considered.

• Interested candidates are required to submit their application in the prescribed format alongwith medical fitness certificate of Civil Hospital on or before 29.04.2022 by E-mail at the address "rgrp-bhc@bhc.gov.in" and simultaneously the original of prescribed proforma be sent by speed post to the office of the Registrar General, High Court of Bombay, Fort, Mumbai, 400 032.

• The envelope containing willingness/information in prescribed proforma and medical fitness certificate of Civil Hospital should be superscribed with the words "Application for the post of Retired District and Additional Sessions Judges on Contract Basis for Fast Track Special Courts."
