The International Policy Analysis Network (IPAN) in association with The German Academic Exchange Service or DAAD in association with has announced two scholarships for students from India.
The youth run policy think tank, IPAN in association with DAAD provides a scholarship every year to fund one student's participation in the US-German Summer School in International and Comparative Law. The IPAN website also says, “Jointly offered by the Marquette University - Law School, the University of Wisconsin - Law School and the Justus Liebig University Giessen - Law School since 2009, the U.S. - German Summer School in International and Comparative Law has earned a global reputation for excellence. The Summer School is the flagship of law programs in international high-quality teaching at the Justus-Liebig-University Giessen.
All the courses taught in English, are designed to challenge and inspire our participants in highly popular fields of international and comparative law. The course combines high-quality studies along with two overnight field trips to Munich and Berlin. In addition, students are encouraged to attend German language courses.”
The program website says, “Jointly organised by the faculties of Law, Economics and Business, Agricultural Sciences and Medicine of the Justus Liebig University Giessen, this summer programme has earned a global reputation for excellence. The interdisciplinary program is designed for postgraduates, undergraduates & young professionals with some basic knowledge in the area of biotechnology, who want to learn about Europe's way of dealing with the challenges of a new and developing industry such as biotechnology, and who want to gain some first-hand experience with German and European culture.

The course combines high-quality teaching along with field trips: two on-site visits at international biotechnology companies (Merck and Bayer), a three-day trip to Munich and a three-day trip to Berlin. In addition, students are encouraged to attend German language courses.”
However, a single scholarship is available per year.
Both the scholarships are fully funded except the fact that the students will have to bear 750 Euros, alongwith to and fro travel from Giessen, Germany and daily meal costs.
