The Arbitration and Conciliation (Amendment) Act, 2019 introduced numerous changes in the arbitration scenario of the country with respect to confidentiality of proceedings, time-limits, etc. However, the most significant change brought about was the introduction of the independent body called the Arbitration Council of India (ACI) for the promotion of arbitration, mediation, conciliation and other alternative dispute redressal mechanisms.
The panel-discussion will feature eminent experts in the field of arbitration. The panel will be diversified to include experts from different walks of the profession including an arbitrator, a practitioner, an academician and others. This will allow for a highly insightful and intensive discussion from various perspectives of the experts.
