The Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India in association with the State Bank of India and the Indian Banks' Association is organizing a one-day workshop on 'Committee of Creditors: An Institution of Public Faith' for Bank Officers.
The workshop will be conducted in Hybrid Mode (offline in Chennai) on 7th January, 2022.
The workshop is intended to develop an understanding of the role of the Committee of Creditors under the IBC, 2016 and to build the capacity of institutional financial creditors to ensure that the Committee of Creditors discharges its statutory duties and responsibilities with utmost care and diligence, to enable them to take business decisions which will result in generation of multiple resolution plans and approving the most beneficial one and lastly, to balance the interests of all stakeholders in the resolution process.
The workshop is free of cost. However, the number of physical participants is limited to 50 to ensure effective interactions.

Course eligibility: Members of top management and senior level officers (Assistant General managers and above) of Scheduled Commercial Banks and Financial Institutions, who are the decision makers under the Insolvency Resolution Process.
