About CASR
The BSOLS Centre for Advanced Studies and Research (CASR) has been set up to anchor original and comprehensive research on a broad range of critical areas. They also form nodes through which faculty and students engage themselves in promoting reform measures by organising national / international seminars and conferences.
About the Seminar
The seminar is an attempt to bring together international scholars from cognate areas on a single platform to deliberate on the problems of delays and arrears in judicial administration. The aims and objectives of the Seminar are :
- To examine the modern trends in civil litigation and to analyse measures to improve speedy justice;
- To overview the system of Alternative dispute resolution in India;
- To analyse the measures taken towards enhancing expeditious Criminal Justice system;
- To suggest reforms to be undertaken towards the goal of achieving speedy disposal and
- To examine best practices for the expeditious disposal of cases; trial of cases
