ABOUT THE BOOK:-
The P.C. & P.N.D.T. Act, 1994 is not a mere legislation but a national movement and a countrywide program enacted to stop female foeticides and to restrict and control the declining sex ratio in India. It has been studied that the declining sex ratio has severely affected the social structure of India and many consequences and further contemplated if the similar situation persist and in view of the same, such legislations are pivotal. In a country like India, mere legislation is insufficient and what marks the difference is its ability to be implemented practically. Evidently, it is the unregulated technology which isa paramount impediment so far as due implementation of this program is concerned and in furtherance, a broad review of the working is necessary.
