Symbiosis Law School, Pune; one of the best law colleges in India offers admission in 5 Year BA & BBA LL.B, 3 Year LL.B & LL.M courses.

5 Year BA LL.B. (Hons.) & BBA LL.B. (Hons.):-

Eligibility:-

• The candidate should have passed XII (10+2) examination from any recognized Board with minimum 45% marks (40% for S.C. /S.T. candidates).


• Students who have appeared for their Standard XII final examination and awaiting for the result are also eligible to apply, subject to submission of passing certificate at the time of the final admission.


• Maximum age limit for five year course is 20 years for general category and 22 years for SC/ST at the time of appearing for SET as on Saturday, May 06, 2017.

Intake:-The total intake is 300 seats [Inclusive of 180 seats of B.B.A, LL.B (Hons.) and 120 seats of B.A, LL.B (Hons)]

Basis of Admission:-

Selection is done in two phases:

1. Candidates must give SET (Symbiosis Entrance Test) as a precondition for admission to SLS, Pune. (Based on the SET score candidates will be shortlisted.)


2. The short listed candidates will be invited for Personal Interview (PI) and Written Ability Test (WAT).

Admission Procedure:-

Candidate seeking admission to Symbiosis Law School, Pune should adopt the following procedure:

• She/he must complete the SET (Symbiosis Entrance Test) online registration process. For details, please visit set-test.org


• She/he must pay Rs.  1500/- as SET Registration fee. For mode of payment, please visit set-test.org


• She/he must complete the SLS Pune payment Rs. 1000/- (per program i.e. B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) or / and B.B.A. LL.B) while filling the SET registration form.

Mode of payment:-

• Online Payment: Both SET and SLS, Pune Payment can be made using Credit Card or via Net Banking / provided on the SET Registration Form. It can be done only while doing SET Registration within the prescribed dates.


• Demand Draft: Demand Draft of SLS Pune should be in favour of “Symbiosis Test Secretariat" payable at Pune, to be sent along with DD to Symbiosis Test Secretariat, Symbiosis International University, Gram: Lavale, Tal: Mulashi, District: Pune – 412115 within the prescribed date along with DD payment form available at DD payment option at SET website.

Eligibility:-

The candidate should be a graduate from any recognized University with minimum 45% marks (40% for S.C. /S.T. students) in one attempt (No Compartment). Students who have appeared for their final year degree examination and waiting for results are also eligible to apply, subject to submission of passing certificate by the announced date.

Intake: - 60 Seats

Selection Procedure:-

• All registered and eligible candidates will be called for Personal Interaction and Writing Sample (PI-WS)


• Final selection shall be based on the combined merit list of All India Admission Test (AIAT) consisting of Writing Sample & Personal Interaction.

All India Admission Test consists of:

• Test - (Comprising Writing Ability Test (WAT) on socio-legal, politico-legal current and contemporary topics)


• Personal Interview (PI)- (Personal Interview is intended to test the personal attributes, fitment, Statement of Purpose, Reference Letter, Academics and Legal Aptitude etc.)

MASTER’S PROGRAM IN LAW (LL.M):-

Symbiosis Law School, Pune offers one year LL.M. programme with the following specializations:

Three or Five years LL.B. Degree from any Indian or Foreign University recognized by the UGC with at least 50% marks or equivalent grade [45% for SC/ST Candidates]. Candidates who have appeared for the final year LL.B. examination may also apply.

SELECTION PROCEDURE:-

All India Admission Test consist of:

• Test (comprising of objective and subjective test to assess the aptitude for teaching, research, legal aptitude and basic legal knowledge)- Weightage 70 %
