Oxfam and the Human Rights and Business Academy (HURBA) are offering their annual summer course on business and human rights (BHR) through a series of online webinars, spread over five days. Drawing on evolving regulatory standards, legislation, litigation and case studies, the online course will discuss cutting-edge BHR issues in an interactive manner. This course is specially designed for graduate students and academics in the fields of law, business and management, civil society organizations, human rights defenders, and activists, and lawyers, legal professionals, corporate executives, government officials, and policy-makers interested and/or engaged in areas related to BHR, responsible business conduct (RBC), corporate accountability, corporate social responsibility (CSR) and sustainability.
The course will be conducted from 6 -10 July 2020; two sessions of 90 minutes each will be held per day. While we recommend attending all the webinars in sequence, participants may also choose to register for sessions that suit their interest and schedule.
Certificate of Completion will be conferred only on those participants who attend all 10 webinars. The course is free and open to all.
