Jindal Global Law School has invited applications for its Master of Business Laws Programme for Working Professionals. The Programmeis designed to equip business professionals from all non-law backgrounds with specialised business-oriented legal skills to contribute exceptionally to their organisations and perform effectively in today’s complex, globally connected business and regulatory eco-system.
The course covers business-related subjects such as Law of Contract, Labour & Industrial Relations Law, Intellectual Property, Taxation, Environmental, International Trade, Infrastructure, Financial, Corporate, Investment and Cyber-laws.
Who should attend:
- Business professionals who do not possess an LLB degree (and therefore cannot proceed directly to an LLM), who nevertheless need a solid grounding in Business Laws to advance in their careers in the legal, tax, accounting, actuarial services, and insurance domain.
- Experienced general managers, senior partners, entrepreneurs – for example in medicine, health care, public administration, higher education, journalism, engineering and management consulting
- Those practitioner-scholars who want to embark on a rigorous, highly selective, world-class journey of continuous self-improvement and acquire a wider knowledge base and personal network with academic accreditation and an international reputation for excellence.
Entrance requirements: Undergraduate degree in any rigorous subject with academic and professional references where appropriate.
The initial intake of Master of Business Laws students is intended as an exclusive cohort of non-law professionals not exceeding 40.
Course Curriculum, Academic Programme Credits, and Outline Calendar:
- To be awarded the Master of Business Laws degree (MA – Business Laws), a graduate needs to earn a minimum 40 academic credits over a period of two academic years.
- This is equivalent to 600 contact hours in total: 300 hours per annum or 150 hours per semester.
- You will take 5 different business law courses per semester (meaning 30 class hours per subject) over a 20-week period.
